Comments
This coin was minted in the small municipality of Atlixtax in the state of Guerrero by order of Emiliano Zapata during the Mexican Revolution. Its production was undertaken in an improvised mint located in the municipality's sugar mill. It was very poor in quality despite the efforts of the workers, due to the limited productive means available.
